FREIGHT DISPATCHING CLASS

Our 3-Day LIVE ONLINE course sessions provide a very detailed experience-guided aspect of freight dispatching and starting your own business!
Freight dispatching is one of the most lucrative careers in the USA and can be for lucrative for you if you apply the skills and training correctly to the job.  Because of the need to find freight and keep the rolling, small carriers are constantly looking to dispatchers to do what they are best at: Keeping the operations going!
WHAT DO FREIGHT DISPATCHERS DO?
Freight dispatchers find loads and handle paperwork for small carriers on a daily basis. Because they do not handle money, they do not assume the financial responsibility and are operating as the back office of small-scale trucking companies.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FREIGHT BROKER AND AN AGENT?
A freight broker is a middleman between the shipper and the carrier and handles the money between both parties.  They are independent of either party.  The freight dispatcher is contracted to work specifically for the carrier and gets paid their compensation by the carrier.

HOW MUCH DO FREIGHT DISPATCHERS MAKE?
Freight dispatchers make an average of $75,000+ annually. Depending on your experience level and book of business, top dispatchers can make over $120,000+ per year.
WHAT KIND OF HOURS DO FREIGHT DISPATCHERS WORK?
Freight dispatchers can set their own hours — deciding when and how much they work. It also depends on how many trucks they can handle. Many dispatchers work from home, so they create their own work/life balance around the needs of their clients.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME A FREIGHT BROKER vs. A FREIGHT DISPATCHER AGENT?
Establishing a freight brokerage can cost between $4,000 - $6,000 depending on the bond and insurance costs.  The freight dispatcher  agent cost is usually as little as a couple hundred dollars depending on their experience and book of business
